Position: Management trainee / Internship programme

Job Description

• Work with manager to cater to clients' financial needs
• Provide advice for clients on asset management, asset protection, investment portfolio, premium financing, and fund management
• assist to analyse external economic trends, political, and legislation changes, for their financial impact on the investments
• Work with the team to perform after-sales services to clients
• Perform ad-hoc tasks or project support if necessary

Requirements

• University students pursuing Bachelor’s or Master's Degree
• Majoring in Finance, Economics, Risk Management or other related business fields will be an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent oral and written expression in both Chinese & English, Knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, eager to learn, and responsible

Position: Manager

Duties

• Provide quality customer service through accurate and efficient transactions
• Meet the financial services needs of customers by identifying opportunities and referring them to appropriate colleagues
• Ensure smooth operations and achieve satisfactory audit rating by meeting all control and service requirements
• Ensure compliance of both general and anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing compliance controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies

• Self-motivated and adaptable to a service environment
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in Cantonese and English. Mandarin is a definitive advantage.

Position: Director or Executive Director in PE

Description

The purpose of the role is to assist in portfolio construction in market. Conduct research on global macro economy, capital markets, and investment instruments; generate investment ideas from a broad universe of asset classes including equities, fixed income, commodities, and liquid alternatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep abreast of economic data and capital market performance, maintain and update dashboard, chartbooks and quarterly market updates;
• Conduct asset class research i.e. rates, fixed-income, equities, commodities, and generate trade ideas;
• Analyse, select and recommend investment instruments such as ETFs, mutual funds, and high-conviction single securities;
• Draft investment memo and execute trade;
• Monitor portfolio and conduct quarterly performance review.

Key Qualities

• Undergraduate degree or above in finance, economics, financial engineering, or other related areas having strong quantitative and analytical analysis; 
• Passionate about capital markets and have 1-3 years of experience in investment management, asset allocation, and funds selections (mutual funds and ETFs);
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin, knowing Cantonese is a plus;
• Familiar with Bloomberg, Wind, Morningstar, etc; 
• Good at charting, Patheon, Excel, PowerPoint/thinkcell, etc;
• CFA is preferred.
